I will be having a Pre-Carlisle WAZOO Westminster Maintenance Day on Saturday, August 18, 2018. We will start at 8:30 AM.

The WMD will be at the garage in the alley behind my house in Westminster, Maryland, 195 W Main St, Westminster MD 21157.

Everyone is invited.

We will be troubleshooting a secondary system problem.

If anyone has work they need help with before Corvettes at Carlisle, let me know.

If you need directions or have any questions call me at 443-244-1347.

Come when you can and stay as long as you like.

Jim,

I'm planning to be in MD on Sat to get one of my cars out of storage and drive it down to the new house in VA, so I may stop by to visit and catch up a little with the gang. Hopefully, there will be no issues with the car coming out of storage, but I'll see what happens once I get there and fire it up for the first time in a few months!

Welcome back!

Thanks, Yun! Good to be back in the states and hope that I actually make it over to Jim's on Sat. If I don't, you'll know that there were some serious issues bringing the cars out of storage!

Thanks, Jim, but I really think that everything will be ok. I've been back a few times and started the cars, so I'm optimistic that they will fire right up.

Looking forward to catching up, now that I'm back in country! I'm at the NWC finishing up my PXO training and will be flying to VA to check into the command tomorrow. Wish that I could make it to Carlisle next week, but that is my only week of turnover so the timing just isn't going to work out.

Great to hear your back Scott and looking forward to seeing you. Right after WMD, will start working the BBQ so all do not worry, it will be ready for Carlisle.

Can you evacuate the AC and recharge? Kind of stressing over taking it on Tuesday to Apple Chevrolet. Thank you.

I have the AC gauge set and a vacuum pump so we could evacuate. Has your system been converted or is it still R12? I am not in any way an expert on ZR-1 AC, but I am willing to give it a try if you have Freon.

I hope to see you at the WMD.

Yes Mark Haibeck converted it over to 134 when he installed a new compressor. I will see if I can make it.

Charlie, Nelson,

Thanks, and looking forward to catching up with you guys. I probably won't get there until after noon, but definitely want to stop by before making the drive back down to VA.

Cheers,
Scott

I liked the look on Bob's car at BG and he was kind enough to give me the part numbers needed to do mine. Yes, like the look very much.
