hi, just wondering, did you feel any real gain in power with this thing? thinking about getting one but not sure.

Since it more or less acts as a ram air type of system, I think it probably comes into play once you get to 100+mph...around town and on short sprints I don't think it makes any difference. It was on the car when I got it, but after my 1st fixit ticket from a state trooper for no front plate I decided to remove it.

I'm looking for one of these kits in white.
Where did you get it?
What does A/O stand for?

Mine came on the car when I bought it....you can get `em new here for about $500: http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?pf%5Fid=30113&dept%5Fid=1758

They come primered ready to paint, A/O is the manufacturer. For some reason the 91-96 version is $500, the 90 version is $569. I priced mine based on what they're going for over on c/f when they show up there....wanted to give the Z members over here 1st crack at this one before I posted it over there.

Be advised I believe you have to make cuts in order for this system to work. I think it is a supporting cross member.

You do have to cut an opening for the air tube to get to the intake, although I didn't notice any lack of structural integrity when I was doing 160+.

Hi Jim...not yet, there was a member here that was interested but not any longer since some hardware mods have to be done to install it. I just posted it over on "the other" site earlier today and it looks like I have a buyer there. Do you want to close this thread? Thanks for your help!
