I just purchased this 90z. Im not going into a long sob story but i bought this car hoping to fix it up a little cosmetically and enjoy her. Unfortunately the guy i bought it from wasnt truthfull with me and the car either needs injectors or fuel pumps. It sat for a long time and the guy (older) didnt know much about it. It runs and drives but not like a z should. I really didn't want a car i had to do tons of mechanical work to ( i know i shouldn't of bought it if i didnt want to work on it.) I dont mind small jobs and no one local knows anything about it. I have 9200 in the car down to the penny and thats with a decent set of goodyear tires. If you dont want the tires its 8900. Price is firm. Car has 54k miles clean carfax 2 owners. Car needs work its a project. Title is open and signed by the person that last had it registered all you do is sign it, If you have issue with that move on.

Edit: had 2 bad coils. Fixed them and car purrs like a kitten. I still have a small issue im getting blue smoke from the passenger side exhaust. It could be stuck injector idk but they all tested good when i had the plenum off. They were all yellow excell besides one black one and that may be the issue. Car idles a little high 1200rpms but I think the tach is off. At this point i want to move on and i dont want to take the plenum apart again id like a nicer one thats already fixed. My mechanic skills are average at best. 8500 is a steal for this car. No i wont take a low ball offer your can part out for way more. Text me if interested 615-516-1918.

Check the size of your pictures. They might be too large

Get some injectors from FIC...they are about 500 bucks if I remember right and see if that solves it. Ethanol in the fuel gums up the originals, and their reproductions will not have that problem. I've never had to mess with the fuel pumps, but those injectors in mine are a DIY job and did the trick for me.

I did my lt5 injectors last year, it’s intimidating but I made it through ok. Fuel pumps are super simple, bet even my super uninterested wife could do it with the right incentive in about 30 minutes. (Literally come out the fuel door with a few screws gone).

I Totally understand not wanting more that you want to do, my 92 LT1 needs a bumper and hood right now and I bet it’ll be another year before I get around to it :(. Wish I had the money looks like a good car!

Running like a champ! May keep it or may sell it and buy a nicer one. Haven't decided

Very satisfying now that it's running as intended I'm sure.

Its actually amazing how smooth it actually runs. It ran so rough i expected it to still have a small shimmy to the motor but you literally can balance a nickle on the plenum.

I actually did that experiment with my 67k mile 91. And yes, you really can balance a nickel on a running LT5.
