I plan to use the Melrose Roof Restoration service soon to replace my cracked, blue tinted roof. I assume I can choose either blue or bronze.
Thought I'd post here to get people's opinions about each.
I've heard the original choice was made depending on the car's original interior and exterior colors. My car has a color change to a C5 Mellenium Yellow, so I'm not too concerned about originality.
I've also read the bronze lets in less UV rays and may appear darker from the inside, but both colors pretty much just look black from the outside.
Thanks for any opinions.

From the outside they all look black, I prefer the Bronze on a Yellow car.

Now you have me checking the build on my car lol.......I have a bronze top. I think we all know the interior of a C4 Vette in the summer is just plain hot!! ( if not running the A/C ) I do like the light that passes through my bronze top, it does darken my Saddle interior. And your right, from the top looking in, the bronze top appears solid black from the outside......

I would suggest Bronze, even though I prefer to look out through a Blue Top. The Bronze is found on most of the later cars.
However, it is YOUR car, so I would pick the one that pleases you the most!
Life is short; enjoy it!

Looks like your car is yellow/black theme, the blue top appears to me black or deep charcoal, I would go with blue, I also think the blue is darker than bronze and will keep inside car cooler, what does your RPO call for blue or bronze/if that matters to you then get the correct RPO color

Thanks, everyone. I have enjoyed reading your posts.
I think I'd be happy with either. There are a few pros and cons to each..
I'm leaning towards blue ... :-)

Not sure if it is still available, but Mid America sold a perforated screen film for the acrylic tops. i have it on my top and it really helps to reduce solar heating of interior while still allowing a view thru the top.
