I've been out in the shop some today just looking at my '90 also. We have had nice weather here lately, but today was really bad. (Barely above freezing!) Had intended to go for a ride. Not happening. I had planned to finish installing the rear hatch weatherstrip early and go. Too cold to work with the weatherstrip. Maybe tomorrow? Supposed to be back up around 80 degrees. (CRAZY Texas weather!!)

Weatherstripping still on my list too. Gonna have to wait for now, have more pressing things to fix on the Z (like the AC).
Got lucky today, was great driving weather all day in central IL.

Ha, I was admiring my 90 today also. And I was wondering if it will ever get above freezing here in WI so the salt and snow can get off the road and I can drive it!

You know you are hopelessly hooked when you stare at it while it is covered.
Not many cars evoke that strong of a connection!

I feel your pain...only differently. I travel a lot and every time I'm home it's raining/storming. When I'm gone, it's 75F & sunny.

Well, that's at least worse than here in Chicago. 24 degrees last night, high in the 30s, snow tonight. Could see 55-60 degrees on wednesday so crossed fingers I may get my Z06 off the top of the lift. But then rain for a couple days so maybe not. Oh well.
It could be worse. I had an uncle from Detroit who, when he as a kid, used to spend vacation time in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Once someone asked him, "what do you do there in the summer?" He said, "if it falls on Sunday we play baseball." --Bob

Last thing to do to mine the rear hatch weatherstrip too.
Replacing the weatherstrip is not too big a job. Couple of hours if you do it by yourself.
I got one of the weatherstrips with the moulded corners and it worked real well.
My trouble is that everytime I go to do something I don't know where to stop.
I have ended up pulling all the insulation and sound deadening out to just clean everything.
I swear my car is cleaner in areas that no one will ever see than it is on the outside.
Oh well, at least I feel good knowing I have done it right!!

Where did you source the moulded corner WS? Seems they all fall apart at the sharp corner.

Livin' in the 80's,
Here's a pic right after installation. I'll send you a PM with the info I have. Not sure I should post vendors in the open forum as I am not sure they are a sponsor.

OK Guys. Since 2 of you say it is OK.
Got it from Zip-Corvette. Their part# WS-1693 and in parenthesis is (Improved Design).
I think Willcox may have the same part now (but not sure) listed as part# 52335.
If I get hung out to dry over this, I have your number!!!
Just kidding (I hope!)
