Hey WAZOO, let's get together.

There will be a WMD at the garage behind my home at:

195 W Main St
Westminster MD 21157

We will be fixing the oil leak on Charlie's ZR-1. If anyone has work they need help with, let me know.

We will start about 8:30 AM, but come when you can and leave when you need to.

Can’t make it this weekend, taking my bus to Gettysburg to do a test run to make sure everything still works.
Have fun,
Nelson

I’m planning to be there fresh from the LT5 build in BG.

Well it is April in Maryland and the forecast now says snow on Saturday and nice on Sunday, so we will see about the WMD on Sunday. No matter what, I will be here if you want to work on a ZR-1 or just hang out.

We had a good WMD last Sunday. The weather was chilly, 34 degrees when we started, but the sun came out and it was fine. Here are some pictures:

The group: (l to r) Jim, Charlie, Rich, Frank, Yun, Rich, Jim. Llater in the day Nelson and Matt and his son Jack joined us. It was a great group.

Frank is a first time WAZOO guy who is searching for a ZR-1 and had seen the ZR-1 Net Registry display at Corvettes at Carlisle and appreciated the camaraderie of the group and wanted to get involved.

Two beautiful red cars getting deluxe WAZOO treatment. Think of it as a Spa for your ZR-1.

Our mission for the day was to find the source of leakage from the front of the motor. We determined that both of these Z's needs work to repair leaking power steering pumps. In my experience, this is not a common problem.

Charlie also got new door weather stripping thanks to Yun:

Thanks Charlie for the pizza.

I promise that the next WMD will be warmer!

Thanks Jim for all the diagnostic on the source of my oil spray on the underside of the hood. Hope with a new power steering pump will get that sorted out. Hate to go to cars and coffee or a car show and have the underside of the hood marked with oil. Yun as usual did his magic making aftermarket door seals work with the assistance of strong fingers from Rich to make the tabs bite. Great time as usual.

Hey guys,

Great photos and looks like it was another successful get-together! Wish that I was going to be joining you this summer, but I'll be getting orders a little further south (Suffolk, VA) instead. Maybe I'll get some chances to sneak up for the weekend and join you from time to time...

Cheers,
Scott
