Does anyone run C6 GS/Z06 wheels on their Z???
If so, are there fit issues, need for spacers, special offsets???
If you do have them (or 18/19 setup) please share them here!
Thanks,
Frank

Damn, sweet ride!
Did you need spacers or different offset?

Spacers(18mm hub and wheel centric) for the rears and longer wheel studs.
Fronts work best if used w Z06 brake rotors, otherwise the front tire will extend about 5 mm beyond the wheel opening. But you can use the stock rotors and calipers. I have the Z06 6 piston in front and the 4 piston in back. The 19s in back make the stock rotors and calipers look puny.

The offsets will determine the spacers required if any. More than likely you will need a spacer for the back, front should be OK without one. Also depending on the wheel, you may require longer studs. My C6 ZR1 wheel upgrade required a 10mm spacer given the 59mm offset and longer studs. Front offset was 57mm with no spacer required.

The Z06 brakes are one of the upgrades I’m seriously considering doing once I get one. Thanks for the input [emoji106]

I love the Z06 brakes. They look awesome but the work even better. You literally “stop at will”. I hardly ever use any brake pressure because they just STOP u. In most cases, sooner than u r expecting.
And rather than paint my calipers, I had them polished.

Yeah, it’s a great combo of looks and performance!
My 1st C6 was a GS rather than a base. I drove both and was stunned how great the bigger brakes worked.

BTW, I also invested in 2 piece rotors F/R. Took 36lbs of unsprung rotating mass off. Not cheap but the steering feels much more direct and requires less effort w more feel.

I used a quality wheel adapter instead of spacer and longer studs. Works perfect :saluting:
