I just got a 10 day ban for saying that venders run CF but they only banned the name so if I delete the cookie I can just read it like normal....or open IE. That place is a joke and this is the place to be.

The vendors do seem to run that place, every time I have see any criticism of a vendor on there, no matter how slight or justified the post is censored or deleted.

I've never spent much time there - why run with the sheep when you can hunt with the Beasts! :D

I reminded him that the First Amendment guaranteed me the freedom to my own opinions in public and private forums, and that I had done nothing wrong other than to criticize his "Heavy Handedness". He again told me that I could play by his rules or go away.

However if you don't like the rules over there, you are free to pursue forums elsewhere. I think they do some crappy stuff at CF too. Though they have a large group to police, so I think a lot of times they do stuff quick and rough and the end result isn't very fair to those involved. If everyone wants to post over here instead, that sounds great to me. :)

It's a minor thing really but if you need any commercial level webspace for anything I have loads of bandwidth on my site and you're welcome to it, as is anyone here. Same goes for email addresses, I have used approximately 2 of the 2500 I pay for :) so if anyone needs a good email address with gaurenteed no ads or anything they're welcome.

Keep up the good work. We need you and everyone else who genuinely supports both us and the Beast.

Things are worse than many people think. The "rule" is that if you have issues with mods or the site you take it to PM. That is a ok rule and I understand it. But don't think that you can complain and not pay a price. They keep files on everyone and if they feel you are disturbing the moderators with complaints they will suspend you or even ban you with a comment like "permanent ban due to need for a less moderated site". Some of the mods are on a power trip and take any criticism as a personal attack and use their ability to ban posters because their little feelings get hurt. Notice that idiot Grumpy has a lock in his avatar? Tell me that guy is not on a power trip.

This has been a pleasant surprize to see everyone over here for a change. This is really where we all should be. I have posted several times on this site about this very thing and I think this place will be kicken' soon.

Thanks to Jeff for gettin' banned. This probably might never have happened if that didn't happen. Shows you how much he is respected to get this much traffic over here all of a sudden. Just come here first if you still have to go to the CF.

The trick is to post and start threads here first rather than CF. Many of the same people visit both sites, but tend to start threads there first because they feel they will get quicker/more responses, so it winds up being a vicious circle. If we were to reverse the trend, more members would hang out here so it is up to all of us to make this our primary destination rather than CF. Granted CF's ZR-1 section has more visitors that are not owners or enthusiasts and just pop in from other sections. However the ZR-1 faithful are not typically served by those type of posters. If the core of posters made this their 1st stop we would see the trend turn around in no time.

I agree and have posted to this many times. I just posted on the CF to come on over here. I don't think it would take long for this to be the place to be if you have a ZR-1. I think if I have an answer to a post on CF I will answer here and reference at the CF to this site for that answer. I like it here and I like the folks I have met here (at the West Gathering) so far.
