This only happens at highway speeds,is this the sending unit going out and is it the sender on the oil filter housing?

I would change out the Dash Gauge Sensor......you did not say what the readings were?
Jerry's Oil Pressure Sensor Dash Gauge (http://www.jerrysgaskets.com/sensor-oil-pressure-guage-3-terminal-new-90-95-9c5/)
Easy to remove and easier to install. I think Channel Locks as it is like 1/4 inch pipe thread.
27 mm Open End wrench will fit also :handshak:

My 95 use to jump around and it was the oil pressure switch. The plastic part had come loose from the Big nut it connects to. Changed switch and had proper readings.
Good Luck.

Be sure to buy from Jerry. I tried two different ones acquired locally from nationwide retailers and both were junk. In both cases they had been calibrated incorrectly or not calibrated at all. The one I bought from Jerry worked properly every time. Jim

I think I have replaced three of these on the 91 in 12 years. The failure rate is high on these. I remember the one time the gauge dropped to zero and I shut the car off immediately. The last two failures were the waggity needle failure.
