As winter is starting to wind down here in AZ. (It was in the low 80s this weekend) I Have completed a few mods and did a little Maintenance on my 90. I was wondering what other folks have completed as usually winter is the best time to make the most out of the garage for us Desert Types.
Here is my list over the last two months

8. Installed new Center vent (Old one was broken)
9. Installed pair replacement Radiator fans (One was failing)
10. Replaced top side electrical connectors due to brittleness/broken clips
11. Installed Stainless oil cooler lines
Still have to complete

Basically a new set of re-gapped NGKs along w new AC/Delco O2 sensors.
Caught a few days of decent weather to see how tuning would be affected
by those changes and a few others.

Yes, cold/rain/ice....looking forward to spring. Started the car 2 weeks ago when we had a warmer 58 degree day and she ran great for sitting on the charger for 6 weeks. Took her out the next day and something went wrong. Never stalled but when I gave it gas it would start to sputter and no power. Almost got creamed trying to take a left on a busy street..lost all power and had to work the hell out of the clutch to keep it alive. Nursed it home and it sits now until Wazoo can figure out what is going on. My feeling is it is fuel related but last year we put in new fuel pumps. Gas is 2 months old but worked fine one day and the next day crap. Maybe fuel filter? Maybe some rodent got hungry after I warmed it up the day before? Sure we will get to the bottom of it soon.

Primary pump pending failure New but could be a flutter in primary pump ? Plug in your Limp home jumper and see if it continues? Zero cost test

You never start any engine, let it idle and not drive it ...

When it hit 40F the other day, I couldn't stand it any longer - had to take 'em out for some exercise. Roads are not salted out here in the sticks. Besides...I needed my ZR-1 "FIX"!
IT FELT WONDERFUL!!!

Clean up in the wheel wells.

Primary pump pending failure New but could be a flutter in primary pump ? Plug in your Limp home jumper and see if it continues? Zero cost test
The mystery is solved and my car is back in tip top shape. I tried to plug in my limp home jumper but was not successful but that is another story. When Jim came over we used his limp home jumper but that did not solve the issue. We then pulled the fuel pump assembly out of my car and found one of the hoses to the fuel pump was very loose. I think Jim knew that because he had several clamps in his pocket. Ah, no substitute for experience:handshak:
Thanks Jim.
