Bilstein will no longer rebuild or revalve our shocks for the FX3 system unless they are aftermaket shocks purchased from them. I want to go to the Marlin or Morocco revalve settings, so I'd rather have my shocks rebuilt and revalved than buy new, but am having a hard time finding a place to do this work.
DeltaVee was on my list of places to send, but they are having some difficulties and not able to get it done.
Is there another place to get this work done? I realize I could buy new shocks, but would then have to pay to have them revalved, which doesn't make much sense from a cost perspective.

I'm curious too since my shocks have lost a lot of their damping. Everything works on the electronics side, so I'd love me to keep the fx3.

I spoke to a tech on this at Bilstein. They will NOT rebuild original GM shocks, as they technically are not able to as they are considered property of GM (legal thing that was brought to their attention recently). So if your shocks have a GM sticker on them, they won't touch it. If not you are good to go.

What difficulties is DeltaVee having? I was going to send my shocks to them. Until last October I lived 3 miles from Bilstein US in Poway CA. Talked to them face-to-face and they are absolutely adamant about not touching OEM FX3s, stickers or not.

I suppose it would be an option to buy new Bilsteins, then have them revalved by Bilstein.
emmvette, will this be for competition use?

Not if you want an FX3 shock. If that’s not a consideration you could buy coil overs from them and get any setup you wanted.

I didn't ask for details. I was on a waiting list since this past summer and they let me know due to some unfortunate recent events they would not be able to get the work completed before the spring. I haven't sent my shocks in yet, so they were letting me know not to send them in which I appreciate.

Yes, for competition use. You are correct; I can buy new and have them revalved, but that is a waste of money, so I wanted to have mine repaired and revalved at the same time.
