I wonder if the engine has bolt in replacement capability into a C4 ZR-1 chassis.

I was just thinking the same thing. Wonder if Mercury Marine would be interested in donating a motor to find out. :p

It based off an LS7 short block. There are kits available for an LSx swap into a C4.

Where might I locate one of those Kits to put a LSX or LS7 engine into a ZR-1 ?

If I was going to do that, I wouldn’t F-up a ZR-1. I’d pickup an 84 Z51 car.
