I think I am lucky to have a wife that supports my Z obsession.....

Santa did good by leaving me some goodies off my winter "to-do" list:

Harlan Shift Light
Viper Remote Entry
Custom Lloyd's floor mats
ZR-1 wall clock for the garage

How about you? Was Santa good to your Z?

Santa brought #1461 a tuning set up. Aldldroid, an Amazon Fire 7 tablet, a Red Devil River Bluetooth data transponder, TunerPro RT software and Dominic (Xfirez51) to make sense of it all.

Yeah, lucky us both!

Ami bought herself 2 Vettes. I guess you could say she supports the hobby!
For Christmas she asked for LED under hood lights. Santa brought some, AND LED headlights AND LED fog lights...for BOTH of us!:dancing

Hans...I'd say ya done well too!

I finally got a copy of " The Heart of the Beast". I pointed my family in the right direction on Amazon and got a near perfect used one. It's an awesome book, as many members have pointed out!

You don't need anyone to gift you Corvette stuff...
You do a pretty good job on your own!

That looks really sweet. Never had anything like that in my day. We just used an attachment on a regular grinder with good stones.

Whats the brand name? I would like to see more about it & maybe get lucky with a youtube video.

I'm going to be looking for a few tools for my new shop this year, small lathe in the 14 x 36 size & a small, Bridgeport. Seems I always have some machining projects to do.

In my era, we had a Pratt & Whitney tape-o-matic drill press & a Suga pegboard chucker (pre-dates CNC :-). No digital feeds on anything. Back then a machinist did all of his own set-ups, made jigs & fixtures as needed & could run every tool in the shop. Will be fun to see how rusty my skill set is after all these years.

Never saw a good tool I didn't like. Some details, por favor, Dave?
