I've just learned that the family of Tony Watson (L8apex) has sold his ZR-1.
If anyone happens to meet the new owner, I can pass on a lot of info on the car.

All I know is that it sold a few months ago at Critz BMW | Buick GMC | Mercedes of Savannah GA.


I miss him dearly! RIP my friend (Tony Watson 1956-2014)

Crossed paths with Tony a few times at NCCC autocrosses back in the day. He was friendly and good company. Hadn’t heard of his passing, sorry he’s no longer with us.

That was it! Someone shared that same post on Facebook and that's how I found out the family no longer owned it.
I contacted Justin Hilliard at Critz and he said that was an old post and it has been sold.
I gave him my info in case the new owner is interested in some history of the car. But have not heard back, so who knows if he'll even make an effort.

I also remembered that from a FB post... the wheels were the key. Too bad it sold so quickly, but maybe the new owner will contact you.
