Can you replace rear view mirror glass?

I have original rear view mirror (the one on the windshield). Had the car out for first time in 6 months and noticed it has corrosion/delamination?? Whatever it is it won't come off from outside.
SO - is it possible to replace the mirror itself without changing the whole unit? If so - anyone have a link for replacement and instructions?

Yes, I have taken one of these mirrors apart, It looks doable, I just forgot the details of what I did.
