Has anyone else have problems with Corvette Specialty?
I ordered a new powered seat track from them about 3 months ago, the part works, I have no problem with that.
I paid over $100 in a core deposit that they will not return.
I sent back the core a full 2 months ago. When I didn't get my refund I did contact their customer service department twice, but they will not respond to me.
After giving up on them, I opened a dispute with my Credit Card. That is still pending.
I certainly will not be buying from them in the future.
Anyone else have problems with them?

I used to live 10 min from this place. Went there several times. Not impressed in the least bit. The parts dept is small. They outsource (drop ship) most of what they sell. Never had what I needed in stock. They also sell and service vettes plus other collectible cars. Everything was way over priced and never moved. The service dept had a terrible reputation.
You might just have a write off here. Always amazes me how businesses do these things.
Good luck.

I dumped it in the lap of the Credit Card company. I have all documentation, so maybe it will go my way.

I forgot to update this.
My CC company wanted the original receipts for the purchase, so I mailed them in.
Then they claimed they never got them, so I must send them again.....
I no longer had the "original", so they closed out my claim. I have since dumped this CC company.
Corvette Specialty never did refund my core charge ($100) or answer any inquiries from me or the CC company.
I believe that it is fair to recommend that people look elsewhere for their parts.

For what it's worth, have had a few experiences like this with CC Companies. They seem to give you the run-around with the claim then send you a nice little denial letter months later. I found the only one who seems to hold vendors accountable is PayPal. If the vendor does not respond, they find in your favor, period.

Good to know, I love PayPal!
I have since switched to a more reliable CC company as well.

I have issues with PayPal as a seller. Sold a set of antique binoculars to someone in China (first mistake). Clearly spelled out in the ad, sold as is no warranty no returns. Six months later I got a note from PayPal the buyer stated the item was “bad”. That’s it just the single word “bad”. I explained to PayPal that they were sent in perfect condition, with photos and the warranty wording in the eBay ad. Got no reply until one day my account was debited with a statement they found in favor of the buyer and that the item would be returned. It arrived a month later damaged beyond repair. I appealed to PayPal and never even got a reply. If there were an alternative service I would ditch PayPal but we’re stuck with them.
Good if your a buyer, but as a seller not so much. Cost of doing business I suppose.

Just to finish off the subject, Corvette Specialty never did refund the Core Deposit of $110. They never responded to the CC company, but the CC company still would not find in my favor (???). Corvette Specialty is a disorganized, dishonest business that doesn't care about customer service. Nuff Said.

Same here. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll spend my money with stable suppliers.
