Hi everyone. I'm in the middle of an epic detail of my Z and noticed a place on a rear A-mold that could be a crack. The wheel doesn't show any obvious damage or prior repair and it seems true. It is however curbed, maybe the lick was a strong one.

The tire shop didn't have any problems balancing the new tires last May. It doesn't seem to be losing air pressure either. Is there any way short of sanding it down to tell for sure how badly the wheel is cracked?

Yes, the wheels need to be refinished. I've put it off in part because of the LTPW stickers. Is there any place to get replacements?

Looks like some light to medium scalping underneath that crack. I'm thinking it could be easily repaired. The crack might be surface only. The refinsher will need to take it down to bare metal unless they X-ray it to see how bad it is. However both defects imho are repairable. The a molds are a fairly tuff wheel.

Replacements for a 36MM offset are unavailable aftermarket and getting a single wheel is tough. Most folks won't part with the rears only and you have to buy a set.

I changed to a smaller pic but can put the big one back up.
