Jeff,

Didn't realize IL increased number of spaces on their plates.

Jeff,

What do you mean? they are still 7 max.. that has not changed

I have Rt 66 Specialty plates with 5 characters which is MAX..

the Expanded Antique plates allow for unrestricted driving April-Oct, Nov-March it is just to shows, demonstrations or to the repair shop

not as restrictive use at Antique.. my 90 qualifies for Antique or Expanded Antique

Oops! I took it to mean that they had expanded the number of spaces on the plate. I thought it was something new.
