Fresh off the NJ presses, or however they make plates these days that takes 8 weeks

I saw a C4 in Illinois today with Extended Antique plates.. I have one picked out if I switch.. but I like my Rt 66 EVL Z plates

Didn't realize IL increased number of spaces on their plates.

What do you mean? they are still 7 max.. that has not changed
I have Rt 66 Specialty plates with 5 characters which is MAX..
the Expanded Antique plates allow for unrestricted driving April-Oct, Nov-March it is just to shows, demonstrations or to the repair shop
not as restrictive use at Antique.. my 90 qualifies for Antique or Expanded Antique

Oops! I took it to mean that they had expanded the number of spaces on the plate. I thought it was something new.
