I will proly get my power key revoked for saying this but as long as you use a motor oil that meets the service requirements and a filter that has a good anti-drain back valve any oil will be okay to use. Provided you are smart about change intervals. You know what I'm saying, right? Don't leave it in for 10,000 miles or some rediculous interval.

The reason that I use Mobil1 full synthetic 10w-30 is that the local COSTCO has it in six packs & it's cheaper than any of the parts stores by me!:o The local AZone has it but it's more $ so I buy the Bosh filter only.

JMHO
