Looks like it's gonna go right over the CORVETTE Museum!
1st the Earth opens up, now the Sun's disappearing.
What's next, locusts?

Yup. Four of us are driving out from California to see the museum the Saturday before it disappears. George

I'll be South Dakota, unfortunately probably cant bring the Z unless I can figure out how to fit my kids dorm room full of stuff including fridge into it. So will have to take the other Z the Z71. I hope to be able to pop down to Nebraska to get in the path, someplace around Valentine NE. I won't have tome to make it to NCM.

You will need to be at least an hour south of Valentine

There was a lunar eclipse today (7th) but haven't been able to find any pics yet. Apparently visible in the Middle East and some parts of South AMerica.
Up here I get to see about 85% of the totality of the Solar eclipse on the 21st. Enjoy it my friends down South!

Just make sure you start driving from Cali before it falls off into the ocean, first.
Otherwise, have a great trip!

For those who have not looked into this yet, finding accommodations on the direct path can be a challenge and costly. I saw hotels in Douglas Wy for 1500 a night during the eclipse. Kind of nuts, our plan is to get as close as we can without a bunch of hassle. I do have a spot located and they still have camp sites available at reasonable rates.

Yup. We made our reservations in Bowling Green months ago before the motels found out about the eclipse. :-D
