Gents,
I noticed when I lift my hood; there is a plug wire on the driver and passenger side of my '90 that is not plugged in. It runs down both sides (left and right) of the hood near each headlight...anyone know where it should plug into?
Thanks in advance.

Leave them unplugged. They draw large amounts of current. If the mercury switch fails or you put the hood up for a long time at a show, the battery will drain quickly. If you really want them on either put in an inline switch or change to LED bulbs.

I would like to install an inline switch. Can someone give me some advice on where to tap in?

I just pull the fuse. Located on the left right above the round vacuum canister. its attached to the side marker light housing.

I like the switch option. I installed LEDs which actually provide a lot of light under the hood. Nice option when checking the dipstick and such.
