Let me start off by saying it has been just over two years since I have owned a ZR-1. In November of last year I purchased a 118,000 mile neglected 1991 ZR-1. I promised myself, I would drive this car and "enjoy" it, since I have previously owned a "Fixer upper '92" and a "Cream Puff '95" but this car needed work.

As usual, I turned to the registry for assistance. So far I have consulted with Brett, purchased from Jerry, and Jim, and sought the guidance from Robert and Marc.

Today, I picked up my "Frankenstein" ZR-1 from Marc's shop and once again, he has proven to be the man I can count on for all things ZR-1. The 250 mile drive home was without issue. The car performed flawlessly.

This is the third ZR-1 Marc has assisted me with, dialed in, or simply repaired. I enjoy his counsel and knowledge of these cars.

I will be attending the Corvettes at Carlisle event and I hope to bring the car to the show. I have a few other matters to attend to, but I am glad to be back among the owners of the ZR-1.

Save the Wave, and Life Begins at 180 mph!!!!!!

I hope to see you soon,

Joe

Didn't have time to stick around. The daughter and I drove in, got the car and headed back. I do plan to have pizza with you guys one day, the FBI makes this hobby a lot of fun. I enjoy that crew!

The motor, transmission, and rear end gearing are not original to the car.

Typically I am a "numbers matching, originality FREAK". I'm getting over it with this car, and I have to admit, it's been fun so far. :-)

Glad to hear it, some cars are meant to stay original while others are not.. my 1990 is not stock, but it was rough when I got it, so i felt it was okay to make it the way I wanted

500+ really make these cars a load of fun to drive and not just because of the
"sleeper" factor. It feels that the chassis was built for at least that level of power.
