I received a photo of my Z from my oldest son Duke the other night. I had given it to him as promised early last year. It has been a year since I last saw it or drove it. Since my son Duke has cut his teeth on his own C4 a couple of years ago I knew that it was time for me to let it go and hand over the keys. Don't worry he is not 18 but 29 years old. He now attends the Gathering when able and both my boys Duke and Deus went this year taking both C4 Vettes.

I still admire my cars beauty and it still runs great. Now I just need to jazz up my 96 Grand Sport Tony style.

Thank you, I knew when I saw it again how I just had to stare at it. I have had it since 1998.

Great story Tony, and what a way to pass on the ZR-1 heritage.

Yes, very nice. And not just the top. I enjoyed seeing lots of high quality detail from below while on the lift.

From what I recall of your son (and family), it's in good hands.

If he's anything like myself he loves the car nor just for it being a great car, he also loves the memories you two shared with it

Nope, still playing in the sandbox. I will be home around the end of Sept, still contemplating whether to throw another Bama Q or not in October.
