I saw this while surfing Auto Trader....While I'm not a fan of the door sill / carpet protectors, I really like these. Does anyone here have these / know where to get them? I've never seen ZR-1 ones, especially with ones production number.

Someone probably made them custom for themselves but could of been some company that did it at one time.

I've got them also. I think the company that made them is no longer in business.

they are NLA back in the day I think they made the custom rear license plate frames as well.
I have only seen the black ones and chrome sills these days with the ZR-1 only logo. I have the chrome ones in my rides

Those are so cool! And thanks for the reply. That's the 1st time I've seen ZR-1 specific door sills... No offense to anyone, but I'm just not a fan of the Corvette logo sills. I say that as my carpet on my sills is starting to show wear, so I may have to buy some :( #1051 is a beautiful Beast, good luck on your sale!

I had them on my '93 Quasar; they were custom made. I forget who made them, one of our members as I recall, but I don't think they are made anymore. The color in the one picture is off--mine were done entirely in a bright red font color. On my '95 I just used clear plastic protectors.--Bob

They were custom built and according to another threat, that guy past away.

No it was not Jim Van Dorn. Someone else in the late '90s. I will try to figure it out but I am pretty sure the above posters are correct that the person passed away. --Bob

I am wondering if anyone could 3D print some with enough demand from members? I know that I would be interested.

I know that some exist from which to copy the dimensions, fonts, etc. if owners of them would want to part with them temporarily. Carter, is this up your alley? They are aluminum I think but then either painted or powder coated. As I recall the Bow Tie, ZR-1 and buyer added text were all carved into the aluminum but I am not sure--maybe a current owner could comment on this. There might be licensing issues with GM now of course. --Bob
I have theses door sills on my 1990 ZR-1,but i modified the lettering when
i installed them. These came from IAMVETTE PRODUCTS IN July 2000 and
cost $219.
