do you need to extend the wires at all or just double up the gasket?

you want to just use extra gaskets and some longer screws. what i did is glued 4 gaskets together then trimed them to so that they sat flush with the slope of the back . It take a little trial and error but the end result is very cool. opps left this out you are just extending the lenses out:mrgreen:

My tail lights are the euro style which fit more flush to begin with. I then added some rubber washers between the housings and the bumper until I was happy with the look. I added more to one side of the housing than the other to even out the angle of the lights in the bezels. Longer bolts were required. You could also increase the gasket thickness between the housing and the lense as noted above, on the euro lights you would have to fill in the center divider or the light would bleed through between the red and amber sections. I think you'd have one hell of a thick gasket to bring them out as far as I did though. Here's a pic for you Keith.

No, I still have A-molds on the car. This pic is from a test fit we did of the new Z06 wheels, unfortunately they are not a straight bolt on.

Everyone earlier in the thread said you don't have to modify anything , just add gaskets and get longer mounting bolts ---

Looks better on the C4 than on the C7. Love the center exhaust. I've been talking to David Johnson about doing a center exhaust for our cars. This is the look but I would want the mufflers tucked up inside instead of being visible. Still...that's pretty close.

MAX - you need to give a hint as to what you are attempting to do. Are you attempting to do a 2 - bulb lamp in each tail lamp location, a 2 - bulb system in 2 and a 1 - bulb in the other 2. You want stop in 2 or 4 and turn in 2 or four. You mention your doing something different and it's a "secret" - it's time to pass on a hint!!!

Yah, this photoshopping stuff can be fun.
I use it to prototype house, yard and various wood projects with great effect.
No plans to make a kit but would make for an interesting look for sure.
hmm, i wonder what the C7 headlights would look like on the C4?

I absolutely hate the rear of the C7 so it must be that it just doesn't look right on that car because I think it's pretty killer on the C4.

I disagree Mufflers come in many shapes and sizes. I have seen it done on C4s and the solution was always to remove the spare tire and carrier. Piping and the cans tucked underneath

I think the thing that works from a styling point of few is that the "angular" look of the C7 is just TOO much angular like the Aztec.
However a few angular touches to a C4 looks nice.
Ok, got to go.
I need to photoshop some lines out of my face. They're too angular.

Im the opposite here.I was a little disappointed once I got the Euro tail lights installed and found out they were not as recessed as the stock lights.
