There was a rumor that a new Vette would be announced at a major race venue this summer. I would guess LeMans in June or VIR in August. I'll be at VIR... [emoji6]

Agreed. A reworked pushrod is not a one off, engineered from the ground up engine.

And, the exhaust tips oriented so they provide some thrust...

I took a look at this, and I think the 9000rpm range comes from looking at a different harmonic. I got more of a ~6000 number off that audio.
As much as I want the next Z to be DOHC and would love to be proven wrong, I think it's wishful thinking at best.

I have my eye on a Gen 5 Viper, but if this car has a DOHC engine in it, I may change my mind.
