I think it's easier to create software than it is to figure out how to post photos on this site.....I tried photobucket but it does not work......Url image? Really? Corvette forum is so much easier...

You need to make certain that your attachment does not exceed the maximum size allowed for that specific file type, ie .jpg 1.91mb

I have absolutely no problem with photobucket on any forum. Just keep two windows open, the forum window and the photobucket window. Copy the "IMG" selection under your photo and paste onto the forum. Works for me everytime....just did one now....no problem!!!
You do not have to be concerned with the "URL" that is what you are copying to paste in your thread or post.

http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p138/SSROADSTER/IMG_2002.jpg (http://s127.photobucket.com/user/SSROADSTER/media/IMG_2002.jpg.html)

Again, there are two selections under each photo, I do not use the
"IMG thumb" selection as it is a thumb pic which you would then have to click on in your post to make bigger. The "IMG", first selection under the photo gives you nice size photos in your threads or posts....

Just to be clear, photobucket is a hyperlink to the photobucket site with ur photo archive. On the other hand, if u want to make the .jpg part of the actual thread, you utilize the upload feature of the forum. A .jpg is limited to 1.9MB in size. Larger than that and the file will NOT load.

Just like some people don't have luck on photobucket, I don't have luck using the upload feature on the forum...
Take all my pics with my S7 and upload to photobucket.....done deal....
I guess whatever works for you is the way to go....as there are different ways to upload your pics!!!

I had that security issue a few years ago, and the mods had to do something to correct the issue, it has been fine ever since...

Posting pictures here is a pain in the @$$ and PHOTOBUCKET doesn't make it any easier doubled with working on this phone, next to impossible. I can do it on my computer no problem but on an iPhone, different story and it doesn't help with somebody throwing instructions at you and expect to to pick it up first time out. Usually it takes me a few tries before I get the process down and I've done it more than once. This is how I've done it in the past,I think. Pull up a picture on PHOTOBUCKET and click on the share option on the right of the picture, try and highlight everything in the img box and copy it. The back over here to a thread and click in the picture icon at the top of the page BUT YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE LETTERS I M G at the beginning of the box, once that's removed paste everything in the box and that's it. I'm about as computer literate as a rock so I hope this makes some sence. Let me go over and try it.

JMO, you are making it more difficult than what it is.....I have no problem with photobucket at all, and I never use the share option....no need to....I can have the photos transferred from photobucket to any post in a matter of seconds.
But then again, whatever works for whoever!!!

I'm trying to explain this as simply as I possibly can. I don't know how many times I've asked this very question and had no idea what they are talking about. If somebody can understand any of what I've tried to explain, great,is it possible to keep 2 windows open on an iPhone ?I will have to agee here,PHOTOBUCKET sucks anymore.

I understand better now, it seems like most of you are using the mobile app for photobucket and are not happy with the way it performs, correct?
The only part of the mobile app that I use is when I take pics, I upload them to my photobucket account and then use my laptop or desktop to post pics from my photobucket account.
I am not familiar with what the mobile app can or cannot do, other than uploading pics.

I would assume that you could keep two windows open on the iPhone, my S7 has that feature, but I never use it. I would also imagine that you could copy from one app and then go to wherever and paste in another. I have done this with emails on the cell, but not that much...

But another thought is, if you are taking pics with your cell, they are already in your gallery. So if you want to post on the forum using your phone, why can't you just write your post and then use the attachment feature and add pic(s) from your gallery? Then you don't need to use photobucket...

Yes but your phone pic resolution may generate pics that exceed the 1.9mb limit for attachments. Then the upload is aborted.

That's probably what's happening....I'm using an I phone 5S....I click on attachments .....The next screen is adding five photos.....I click on each one and I upload the photo from my photo gallery from my phone....After I add five photos I go to the right of the screen where it says upload photos....I click that and it just won't load.....

Now the pic I posted in post #6 was from my laptop using photobuctet and pic taken with my S7. The pic I posted in post #24 was also from my S7 in my gallery, using the forum app, no photobucket. Check out the difference in size between the two. In pic #25, George used his iPhone using the forum app also with a much larger pic. So far either one of us has exceeded the 1.9mb for attachments, and we have been using our cells for pics. I would assume that the 1.9mb would be quite large for a pic. Now on another note, the following has happened to me here and over on CF, if I were to use the "Attach Files" to "Manage Attachments" here or there, most of the time either forum will not accept my files. And yet they are the same pics that are on my computer.

I am not up on all of the technology like many years ago. So whatever works is good for me!!!

just another example, same pics as in post #24, this time using my laptop and photobucket. big size difference...I don't have a clue!!!
