Sorry Hadi, it's not as simple as that.
The powder is applied with a spray gun or an electrostatic method or a fluidized bed method. Then the parts are baked in an oven to cure the coating.
It is very technical and there are many steps to properly prepare the surface, apply the coating and then cure the coating.
It is not a "at home" job.

More info available here:

thanx for reply! anyway, belive me itsnt hard!
ya, you can do that in home, but not in kichen, cuz your wife would be:mad: !
:-D , and dont bake the parts in microwave!:sign10:
i found good deal from good compay, price of 2 lb powder cost 25$.
and 100 $ for gun and electric stuff. and (sure you need air pressure source about 5-10 PSI)!
you only need clean job to parts, like cleaning and sanding before you start the coat.
i just want to know how much of OZ or lb of powder i need to coat my 2 valve covers??

Hadi, I just want to address this in public since you sent me a PM. The last person I discussed this with on colors screwed me over. I will help make color selection, but I will not give out the namesor the stages on how I do them.

Hadi....Jeff is being more than fair...he does this as a business,
and his work is some of the finest i've ever seen...seriously..

that being
said, i will let one of Jeffvette's secrets out of the bag..so to speak

1st you need one of these...http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j9/kmoudy/Easy-Bake-Oven.jpg

made by a company in the good ole USA..called Hasbro...
make sure you don't stick your finger in the electrical outlet..as there
are no warning labels...on the damn oven...:next...

get you some baby powder...and some glitter ...and you my
friend are in business...

Hadi-

Don't forget, you get what you pay for, & experience is worth a million. You can ruin rare parts or pay and have no worries. Yet, I see where your coming from, far away, I have the same problem being from Montana, thats also a long way from any ZR-1 service people. I haved shipped parts out to get work done and the shipping can cost more than the service, of course the time delay is the real killer.

If you screw up it can cost double, don't fool yourself if you want a professional look. No matter how simple, you better PC everyones parts in town untill your ready for yours.

Just common sence, if you want great results.

Hadi - sending parts to the US is no big deal. I sent my whole engine to Marc from the UK last year. Find a shipping company as opposed to UPS/Fedex etc and you will find the cost very reasonable
