Looking to purchase new rotors for my '91 ZR-1. OEM standard rotors are fine or a set of slotted and drilled rotors. Correct size is 13" front and rear in diameter, Heavy duty? Not interested in upgrading to larger brakes or modifications.

Looking for suggestions in brands, thanks.

Try rockauto.com, I have their powerstop brakes on the Wifes Tahoe, they have been very good, nice feel, little fade and low dust. Our cars use the J55 brakes.

Bought a set of drilled rotors from Summit a few years ago for $300 a set.

Joe,

I don't believe the rear rotors are 13". Believe they're 12s.

I have a set of rotors for any C4 with J55 brakes. They are StopTech rotors and are gray coated. The friction surfaces are grooved, but not drilled which is the best way to go for performance use.

At one time I had them on Barney my '95 for product evaluation. These rotors are used but with plenty of thickness left.

I'll sell the set for $100 plus the shipping.

If you are interested, PM me and I'll mic each of them and give you the dimension.

That's what has me confused. I thought the rotors were the same size on the ZR-1, 13" in diameter, all the way around, heavy duty. Now I'm going to have to go to the spec sheets!

I replaced th stock ones last year when I did the Z06 brake upgrade. The Z06 is a 4 piston/13" rotor in the rear. Stock is a 12" rear rotor.

I replaced the rotors on the ZR-1 I used to have, I can confirm the rears are definitely 12 inch. Only the fronts are 13 inch.

Thanks Hib, I've been away from the forum for a few, but I'm all set.
