How well does the Borla exhaust flow? Really like how it looks but may end up buying corsa depending on flow. Buying SW headers for sure though.

The new B&B Fusion dual mode exhaust system has the best combination of loud and quiet when open or closed with no resonance. And minimal back pressure when open. But their latest version uses round instead of oval cans which look a little odd on our cars. Corsa is single mode and loud at idle and WOT and fairly low back pressure because it's straight thru on one side but it's only 2 1/2" and the second outlet is completely blocked off. Sound is a bit raspy. Stainless Works has two different versions. The Turbo S is single mode and straight thru on one side like the Corsa but 3" inlet, 2 3/4" thru the tubes and fully open on both sides. One of the least restrictive mufflers for our cars. Deep rumble at idle and cruise. Very loud at WOT. Moderate resonance when lugging up hills. I have no experience with Stainless Works quiet system but assume it's more restrictive.

Someone on the Forum has experience w the DynoMax system using an internal
Flapper valve controlled by exhaust flow so it's progressive.

I thought Marc said that the Borla mufflers flow well its the resonator that is the choke point?

I really like my Borla system. Actually, mine is just the Borla mufflers. The rest is SW X-pipe, custom pipes and headers (no resonator). My car makes good power, but there are other changes, so it's hard to say how much the exhaust helps or hurts. There is some drone, but not too bad. I don't mind it but I'm careful with throttle and gears when my wife is in the car.

I'm with Russ. I LOVE my system. I had the Borla exhaust. Had the car dynoed.
Lost the resonator, replaced with B&B X pipe. Re dyno: 25 more HP!
Headers (Bullet cats) love the sound. Yes drone @ 1800 rpm.
So, yes, the Borla resonator sucks. (IMHO)

I might add, I chose not to use cats, and sometimes I wonder if that was a mistake. I've had people tell me they smelled gas after following me.

I've read people say that can be tuned out, but my tuner said, not so easy to do.

Exactly! (again)
I had my muffler guy weld in flanges so I can change out between:
1) Straight pipe
2) Bullet cats
3) Humongo industrial cats

DD is #2 for smell reasons.
Mojave Mile/ Mojave Magnum #1
#3 to (try and) pass smog check.

I have a Kwik-Lift and have gotten pretty good at
changing them.
