Hey Y'all!
I'm thrilled to have my first ZR1, 1991/1388 and am having a bast with it. I drove to from Akron, Ohio to Dallas last Friday without issues.
I'm the second owner and have all the documents that you would want; Pizza box, original BOS, receipts, window sticker...etc. This one is a keeper!
I've had several C3s in the past and currently have a 82 that I use as my (Mostly) daily driver.
I'd appreciate any help, advice, comments or direction that you all could provide. I'm reasonably handy (i did get all the FSMs) but this car is way more complex than the C3 even with the XFire.
BTW... I tried to upload pictures but "My security token was invalid" What that about??

Welcome Bill, I see you all the time over on CF in the C3 section. I also own an 82 and go under the name "SSROADSTER" on CF. I am sure you may have checked out the "sticky" I put together under the "Tech Section" on the 82's.
You will enjoy the ZR-1 more and more than you are now. It is one great machine, had my 94 out yesterday and always puts a smile on my face. There is a wealth of info and talent here on this forum. This group really understands the makings of the LT5. After 2 1/2 years of ownership, I am still just scratching the surface in understanding how the LT5 works.....
Lots of luck with your 91. Saw your pics, but need more when you get time, that is one beautiful ZR-1 that looks to be in fantastic shape. Have fun!!!

Welcome to the club, Brother!! I'm on the other side of town out in Rowlett but we can certainly meet up any time you'd like. You're going to have a blast with this car. You've already had a good road trip in it. Amazing on the road, huh? Keep you calendar clear for next May. We'll do a caravan up to Bowling Green, KY for the annual Gathering. Before that we'll be getting together with a bunch of Z Bro's somewhere around the middle of the state.
Post up some pics when you get a chance!

I'm having a heck of a time uploading photos. Funny, I have no issues on CF.
Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I'm really having a great time with the car.

Some how that logic is tough to argue with.

Make sure you get to the Corvette shows in Dallas!
I live in Montgomery TX; the wife and drove #1616 to Fort Worth for a wedding. The next morning there was a show at Corvette World Dallas... We got there late (WIFE...), and I couldn't enter; however, i would have taken at least 2 if not 3 trophies that day. Furthest Driven, Best C4 (without a doubt) and possibly the Best ZR1 (ZR-1). The C4's they had there were nice, but when you roll up on the 'JUAN', you'll need to make room for the trophies... :)
Drive the piss out of that rig! I'm at 92,000 miles; I bought it in Sept-14 with 56,000 miles. WHAT A CAR!!!!!!!!!!

I'm game. Look at your schedule and I'll start a thread in the Southwest section. Bill, go the Regional Club section and we're in the Southwest area. We'll post upcoming gatherings there.

Glad to be here! I'm spending some time "baselining" my Z by cleaning fixing some of the noids that bug me. I'd appreciate any help and especially any contacts in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Thanks!

Hey Texas guys, putting together a gathering in Buffalo on Dec. 10th. There's a thread that Fully Vetted (Dave) has started in Southwest Section. We've done 3 of these over last 2 years. Always fun just to hang and talk shop. Think we had 7 last time. Let's see if we can get it up to 10 at least this time. Houston had 4 in caravan. Dave let's see if you Dallas area guys can beat us this time. Friendly wager? I don't think Houston can be beat especially by Dallas!

Wager? I'll just send you the money! I don't think Dallasites drive their cars. Bill may join us but I'll bet that's it.

Odds just improved for me. The daughters boyfriend volunteered to go to NYC to help her set up the apartment. I'm not out of the woods yet, but the clouds are begining to part.
I need to figure out a way to keep him around.
