Hi,
Looking for a digital speedometer (LCD display). My 1991 car only has 22k on it, but today my display has a band across the middle that is blank. What I can read is very faint.

If anyone has a spare LCD speedometer display or a salvaged instrument display from a parted out car (blasphemy!) they are willing to sell, I would be interested. Drop me a note.

Thank you for any help.

John

I will have a 91 cluster out of a low mileage car in about 2-3 weeks.

I've had some LCD issues in the past year, decided to go in on the refresh kit from BATEE.com, and I'm up and running like new. Not a hard job to pull the cluster, and the refresh is a good off-season (or weekend) project.

This may be all you need...http://batee.com/corvette/dcrg/services/9096_lcd_restoration.html

I needed the LCD connector as my panel was intermittent. I also opted for the replacement bulbs, LCD resto, and tach calibration while the cluster was out.

BATTE also serviced my cluster he also has a conversion cable that allows the 92-96 LCD to backwards compatible talk and emulate the earlier 90-91 LCD. He is in the process of getting these reproduced. Top notch service I might add.
