Here are the beginning pics of today's show, if you would like to view more, check out the link......

Once again I was the only C4 ZR-1 at the show. Had a number of people stop by to chat, they were very interested in viewing the Z. I had one father and son come by, and the father thanked me three different times for bringing the ZR-1 to the show. I was speechless to say the least, never had anyone thank me like that before!!!
Another person mentioned, that he will probably not see another ZR-1 on the road, and was also very appreciative....
I have to say it appeared that people were "blown away" with the Z.:dancing

Posted here so that everyone could view the pics in the other link above, always a wide variety of vehicles here.....great weather and a real good time today!!!
Enjoy the pics......

Early arrival.....

Almost a full house on Corvette Row, even with a Camaro that thought it was a Corvette........:)

Thanks Mike, yes it does have a little bit of almost everything. I find as I am getting older, I am taking more interest in earlier vehicles. Not to the point where I have the desire to own one, but from the thought that these were some kind of vehicles. Not only in the way they were built, but also the innovations that were accomplished and put into use a long time ago....

Sure did Daryll, you can spend hours just checking them all out!!!
That 67 was quite a car. Did not have a chance to speak with him, it did draw a lot of spectators.

Which show Tom?

Marty, it was @ Delaware County Community College in Media PA. Sponsored by the HCCP (Historic Car Club of PA), which is to my understanding a very large club. Most of the participants there are members, and I think that this is their biggest show of the season year after year.
On a side note, won't be down to visit this week, as I am under the weather and on meds.....talk soon!!!

Thanks, appreciated.....yes it is Fall here in PA, but not quite as vibrant with colors this year (at least not yet) as has been in previous years....
Temp is 81 degrees today and will be most of the week dropping down to the mid 70's towards the weekend. Not really Fall weather here by any stretch.....

Thanks Charlie, thanks Steve, appreciate the compliments.....
Yes, finally getting there with the paint since purchased in '14. I have to admit that I have been getting a lot of positive responses from people lately on the paint condition. As I have mentioned in the past, it is nowhere a show quality paint, but that is fine by me. It has the marks and slight scratches from all of its years existence and is proud of it.:)
My biggest concern was to eliminate as many swirls and scratches possible from over the years. I think I am there now, as they are only minor. Now it is just a pure enjoyment to maintain what has been done. I think over the years I have learned to accept a more satisfying paint condition then when I was younger......not as anal as I once was......lol I actually polished and waxed off the paint on my first car (66 2-door Impala), lol...., of course being lacquer paint back then, it was very easy to do....and that resulted in a complete paint job....those were the days......lol
Also happy everyone is enjoying the show pics.....hmmmm, now if I could only get this one, and that one, and...lol
