Got a '94 (Red/Black) about a month ago. Absolutely in love with her.
Lost the front rear-quarter body moulding somewhere on the road. Ordered a replacement on e-bay, but now I'm realizing after actually searching the forum that the part might be ZR-1 specific, and I ordered one for a base C4.
Is the part ZR-1 specific? If so where do I go about finding one?
Anyone have any luck getting the base C4 part to fit?

I had the same issue with my Torch Red 94 a few years ago.
No luck finding an OEM molding in the right color or in good condition.
Finally ended up making a mold from a black one David Johnson had on hand and casted a replacement out of polyurethane resin. Turned out a lot sturdier than the flimsy original and painted up perfectly.

The ZR-1 part is shorter by about a 1/2 inch I think, pretty hard to find part.

I know that Jason at Vette2Vette (https://www.vette2vette.com/) may be parting out a 91 ZR-1 and might be worth a try. (Personally, I like the DIY molding idea, if all else fails.)
Maybe I've been around Brett too much, but when you said "body molding", I was thinking quarter panel or bumper or?? BELT might be a better identifier?
Just my 2 cents...

You guys are all awesome. Thank you for the warm welcome and the tips! Knowing this community existed gave me the confidence to take the plunge. The wealth of knowledge here is pretty staggering.
I ended up attaching the base C4 molding and it actually looks better than I thought it would. Honestly, looking at how poorly the ZR-1 specific molding fits on the passenger side, I might actually prefer the look of the base C4 molding. (I'm probably just trying to convince myself, haha.)
The biggest issue with the base C4 piece is that the mounting clips are spaced more narrowly than on the ZR-1 piece. So, I ended up attaching it by just one of the bolts. It's not perfect, but it'll do the job until I can find a matching piece.
Now that she's whole again, she'll be getting a bath soon, I promise. Well, after I replace the hatch weather stripping ...
