Any info on the 89 METALIC RED at Nelson Auto Group?

I saw the car on Facebook currently for sale @$545,000. Is this a car that was never damaged and was sold 100% as it sits? I remember hearing about this car a few years ago but not a lot. Any info on this car?

I took the photos of this car in the Corvette Forum link below, it’s in very good condition. Nelson has had some really nice C4 ZR-1s go through their dealership, they were from the Ungurean collection. It was previously for sale by itself. The salesman told me it was “in the $200,000 to $250,000 range.”

The asking price of $525,000 is for all three ZR-1s, Nelson is selling them as a “package.”

Is this the only sale able pre production ZR-1 in private hands. When I sale able meaning it came from the factory looking as it is today and how did it end up in private hands? Would really like to know the history of this one.
