This is prolly an "OT" topic, but I posted it here to get a bigger audience. But, is anyone noticing a significant increase in the crap like pop-ups and general security issues when using Photobucket as their picture handler? Boy, I have...mostly in the last few months.

The site seems to be hijacked with re-directs, popups and other crap that drives my security SW crazy, and slows my PC to a crawl. I have to close my (Firefox) browser and reopen it, leaving my Photobucket tab alone (read: not launched with the others) to get back to normal. Anyone else see this, or is it just me?

Have not noticed anything but will now be looking ;)

Was going to take lots if photos of my ZFdoc Black label trans install in my 95' (including Wilwood C5-Z06 and New U Joints in drive shaft) but got so excited about a test drive I forgot to take pictures.

This new Mobile App is Super ......not to change the subject

Library?
Do you wear your silk smoking jacket and slippers while enjoying a glass of
sherry and your pipe while in your mahogany lined library?
:)

Sounds like you have a malware issue on your computer. I use photobucket and don't have any of the issues you're describing, works just fine with no popups or redirects. The only things I have running in my browser are popup blocker, AdBlock and FlashBlock. Check your browser extensions for anything you don't recognize. Then get Malware Bytes and see if it finds anything.

Try using an iPad, it isn't quite as susceptible to that garbage.

I just use my photo library !Are you referring to the Albums viewable in (some) peoples' Public Profile? I often wonder why more ZR1,net members don't use that feature. I use to click people's profiles to see pictures of their cars, but more often than not they haven't posted any.

Yes, absolutely. I have a fairly slow connection (living in the country) and all of the garbage on their site means it takes forever to get to my images ...

On my computer I load photographs into my documents section or my pictures section.
On my iPhone I load photographs into my photo library.
From these files I can load pictures or photographs onto postings at the forum.

Yeah, they just seem to have a lot of baggage on that site. No problems with any other sites tho.

Problem is, I've used that site for several years - got tons of pix on it, many from another computer. Gonna be a job divorcing myself from it. Kinda like moving out of a house - save these, trash those....
