Very soon, I will be selling a bare shell body converted to a ZR-1 convertible. This has been done the right way. Done exactly the way the ZR-1 Spyder was done by GM, only better.

This ZR-1 was never wrecked. Only parted out.

The body will not have front and rear bumpers. It will have doors, hood, side fenders and rocker panels though. Standard C4 windshield in good condition. No suspension or drive train.

If interested, just PM me.

$5000

Once the panels are made and installed, $5k takes it. I'm tired of paying storage on four cars.

Empty body, converted into convertible "correctly" as this is the only way I do things. Doors original to the car. Hood.

Modified NEW convertible deck lid that attaches just like a factory GM convertible. Installed one piece convertible rear upper surround panel with absolutely no seams to ever bleed through. This is done right.

Even the ZR-1 Spyder had a pieced together rear upper surround panel with seams. I would say that this is the only correct ZR-1 convertible upper surround panel there is. When the mock-up was done, the rear 1/4 panels were left attached to the body. The convertible center section was seamed in and then the mold was made. The deck lid was modified to fit the 1/4's.

There are no bumpers or rocker panels included.

Has clear title.

What about the convertible top frame, is it included? Had one been tried to confirm correct fit? I think if you could get some recent pictures it would help

It has a convertible top assembly that will need new canvas. The car is in storage. Pics aren't going to help much, IMO. It's a bare ZR-1 conv body. All you need to do is buy a donor car and start transferring parts.

No suspension. Just the bare convertible wide body built right at a give away price if you want it and have the skills to get the job done.

:saluting:

Sorry, Curiosity is getting to me.. Are all the body parts in primer or multicolor?

I don't know much about the C4 vert top frames, will this particular car accept the Glass rear window?

When you sat "empty body" does this mean no dash or wiring also?
Thanks,

If it is not a glass window frame, it can be converted to one.

Car was originally red. Original ZR-1 car converted to convertible.

Has NO interior pieces. No dash, etc. EMPTY SHELL

Convert top will as an original C4 corvette does. hardtop would also fit.

No bumpers or rockers.

YES, I will sell the convertible panels for $2k. You would have to source your own convertible hardware from Ebay.

There have been a few converted. From what I've seen, not always done where everything lines up right. This is done perfectly. No seams. Bonds in factory bonding areas.

This would be a pretty straight forward conversion if someone had a running car and wanted it converted.

I've done the R&D and crafted the molds. Someone else can do the easy part.

I would LOVE to have a wide body Convertible.. Challenge I have is space which could probably be worked around, but the time is the killer,

Also moving a carcass around with no wheels could provide to be a challenge as well.. the positive to this would be getting it all painted prior to swapping things then you could paint it what ever color you wanted

the negative is there is NO Space for anything in a C4 vert behind the seats
