Guys, Glenda McLellan passed away on Friday:

http://obits.mlive.com/obituaries/flint/obituary.aspx?n=glenda-jean-mclellan&pid=179915694&fhid=4730

I had the pleasure of meeting her last month on my way through Detroit at a small gathering at her and Dave's house. She was absolutely an inspiration and a wonderful, wonderful lady.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Dave and their family.

Can the club setup a fund in the online store on our behalf for those that would like to contribute?

So sad to hear of Dave's loss. I saw them 2 years ago at the NCRS kissimmee show and they looked so happy. My condolences to the McLellan family during this very difficult time.

Sad indeed. Dave and Glenda seemed insepareatble. They are people of great faith which helps at difficult times like these, but I can't imagine the void Dave must feel. Let's be sure to rally to show him and his family the support they have from their extended family. Saturday's dinner at the Gathering will be one to remember I am sure; last year, JVD - this year, Glenda.

:o

Flowers are a nice touch, BUT how about something a bit more permanent?
I suggest a well-placed brick or other memorial at the NCM.

Glenn,

The flowers were something we felt needed to be done immediately. We will be organizing something else, as you state, more permanent once everyone returns from the Gathering.

I had the honor of attending Glenda's Funeral today. It was a great celebration of a great lady. Her memories will live for ever in the hearts of the ZR-1 and Corvette community. She always liked to tell you a joke and then she always had another one. One great memory I have of her was when she wanted to ride down the drag strip at Beechbend in my car. She thought that was really thrilling and fun. She wanted to go 4 more times.
Dave has always supported us, now it is our time to support him.

God speed Glenda, You are among the Angels now.
