So, how many are going to attend the Mountain Run again this year??
I'm leaving for E Kentucky (breaking it up into two segments), driving on Saturday, May 7th, then rendezvous in Gatlinburg in time to check in and meet with the other drivers for the DRIVER'S MEETING.
It's about 7.5 hours to eastern KY (where to spend the night is TBA, but near I-75 somewhere convenient, south of Lexington). From there it is a leisurely cruise - 5 hours ± to Gatlinburg.
In the past, the best way to gather would be at the Micky D at I-65 and US 24 (in IN) and leave from there, say around 9AM ±.
Don't forget to bring a FRS radio - essential during the mountain run to keep tabs on one another! ;)
I'll NOT be caravaning from IL, as I'll be arriving from the MR4 instead. But, for those coming to the BG gathering, NOW might be a good time to coordinate the trip...Just sayin'
