Hi,
'91 ZR-1
I just had my rear tires changed on my '94-'95 rims and garage didn't find any TPMS sensor. However, I never had any issue with LTPWS light.
Is it normal?

My car ('91) has no sensors, the dash light comes on sporadically, then goes away without staying long. It's odd, but not too annoying.

We pulled out the light bulb!

My sensors are out of the car, the light does not come on. Sometimes it flashes when I go over a bump.

When I go over a bump, sometimes my "ABS Active" light goes on for a second.

Probably b/c the tire rotation (rpm) is suddenly no longer uniform, indicating slippage.

In MY 90's you can pull all the sensors and no light. Same for the MY91's I have been told. No so for the MY92-95 ZR-1s. If you pull one or all of the wheel sensors the light will remain on.
So either all your sensors are pulled as your stated, You bulb is out (Doubtful) or your bulb in the Drivers Information Center or DIC has been pulled by the PO. In this case with all the sensors pulled the light is not on is correct and/or all of the above

My 92 has no sensors and I have never seen the low tire pressure light come on other than at start up when all lights are on.

Is yours a Canadian car ? Canada did not allow import Corvettes from MY 89-92 to operate tire sensors due to a frequency issue in the tire bands. GM changed the frequency in MY 93 when they went to the white pryamid style vs. the black box style. This would be the only exception to my earlier post. I see in your signature that your car has DRLs like mine however I added my DRLs with a web electric mod and I suspect yours came from the General that way EH ? LOL GC ;)

Nope, #246 is a US car delivered to Loehkann-Blasius Chevrolet in Waterbury, CT. I purchased my DRL at:
http://www.webelectricproducts.com/ and they were installed by Wazoo at one of our maintenance days

Then you car is a complete anomaly. I have never heard in the last ten years of a 92 and up with all the bands removed and the light being present and not lighting up. 90 and 91s all day 92 and up never with the exception of the export cars. NEVER EVER
Yep that is where my DRLS are also from

Just a very special car:) Last August at Carlisle got to meet the original owner and also the second owner of this car. Special day for me. Marty also sent me a bunch of documents that belong to the car as well. Like I hit the lotto!

Just to double check, went into the garage and turned on the car. You can see all the lights on when turning car on and all lights off when car is running....smooth at 600 RPM. You have never seen this condition?
