Although I didn't plan this, my other car is DOHC (it's a 2011 Mercedes C300 with the M272 engine).

When I thought about that, I did a little searching and there are more DOHC engines than I expected.

What about you? Is your other car equipped with a DOHC engine?

90, 91 ZR-1s = DOHC (of course)

SOHC F150 pickup (actually selected over GM because of the OHC)

Our week old 2016 Buick Enclave = 3.6L V6 VVT (DI) LLT= DOHC, 24 valve, 11.3 compression, 288 hp, 6-speed auto. (Heavy as it is, it is very "frisky" for a V6!)

That makes 4 out of 6 vehicles w/ overhead cams, 3, 4 valve, DOHC and one 3-valve SOHC.

Sure is. It's an LF4 in a Cadillac ATS-V. It's always a lot of fun when I go hunting Mercedes, BMWs and Audis.

While I don't have a Z right now, my black '97 F-150 (that I've had since Feb 2003) is an SOHC 4.6L. 5-speed single-cab flareside with a 6" lift on 35's.

I just sold my '12 mustang GT with the sweet Coyote 32v. The new ride is a Chevy Volt which also has 4 valves per cylinder. Of course you aren't usually using the gas engine...

But really, the post should have been titled, "Who is still running 2 valve engines?". I feel that after having done the coyote for 4 years and simultaneously owning the LT5- I really don't want to take a spin in the pushrod motors that much anymore.
