Would you guys mind sharing your opinion of an appropriate selling price for a good working ECU from my '91 ZR-1?
I have an aftermarket ECU, and had planned to hold onto my original computer, but someone has approached me about selling mine.
Mine is a bit scratched up (not pretty), but AFAIK has no issues. The car has 67,000 miles. I could sell it with or without the Haibeck chip I had been running.
Thanks in advance.
Russ

I think I paid between $400-500 for one that that was some years ago.
Russ, I assume you have the Megasquirt ECM? If so what functions did you lose?
How do you like the new ECM?

Yes, I have the MS3-Pro.
The only lost functionality I've noticed thus far is the MPG display on the dash. I kinda miss that. It was interesting to look at while highway driving. I haven't noticed anything else, except it seems like I need to crank the engine an extra .5 - 1 second before it fires.
My engine is running great. The www.diyautotune.com (http://www.zr1.net/forum/www.diyautotune.com) (MegaSquirt) guys are near me and they had my car for a month, fine-tuning their ECU, getting it ready for retail sales. I picked up a few HP (most likely because my previous tune was not optimized). They had me re-install the secondaries because they say their ECU does a better job controlling them, and that they found more mid-range power with the secondaries functional.
