It makes a major taxes difference for me at the Canadian customs. Can't really find the information anywhere.

Made in China, but I don't think shipped from China.
Can you ship it to someone in the States and have them reship?
I ASSUME made in China is the bigger tax burden.

I purchased a used Corsa cat back and had it shipped to a U.S address. Brought it back over myself. CBSA didnt seem to care about second hand parts. Even brand new it will be cheaper to bring it back over on your own. Fedex and Purolator type companies charge brokerage fees.
I ordered a $50 usd part from Florida (shipping included) to canada. Had to pay $27cdn when it arrived to UPS.

There's no difference if I got it reshipped.

Yeah that's what I wanted to do: ship it in Maine, and bring it back myself. I'd save some bucks on shipping fees.

However, on my way back CBSA will make sure I pay the right taxes for the OBX.

But if I have them shipped directly in Canada, maybe I won't pay taxes.

If it's made in China it's gonna be expensive.
