Hey guys. I’m sharing pictures of the 1995 ZR-1. I’ve put a bit into it actually and the car has got some nice compliments while out and about even though it hardly gets driven. The car drives great and sometimes I think the seats are even more comfortable than my other newer vette. Unfortunately, this ZR-1 was not blessed by its makers with the majestic super car all mighty two Dunn status. It’s a lower grade mutt with only one Dunn, oh well.
I don’t have much room left and may have to face reality at some point ---- perhaps trade it in to update the daily driver. We will see.

Beautiful. What number is it? History? NE or MI?

Is that Admiral Blue? It looks lighter than I remember.

I am guessing it is Bright Aqua but it looks too blue for that.

I vote Quasar Blue. It definitely isn't Troquois nor is it Admiral Blue; that's about it for a 95 Z, no?

is it Quasar blue? not sure if spelled that correct.

Very nice Z.

I really like the color combo -- I especially like the gray interior.

I agree with Paul. Definitely not AB.

Light and filters can have quite an effect on these blue cars.

This is AB:

Compared to:

Whatever the color...that is one well preserved car. Enjoy it and don't worry about the single Dunn.

To the OP,

That is one sweet ride. It appears to be very clean and one fine example of a 95. Color code 43, Bright Aqua Metallic; for 95 ZR-1 there are only 13 Bright Aqua. Keep this car.......and thanks for sharing.

On color, the last year that Quasar Blue was produced on the ZR-1 was 1993. 94s and 95s had Admiral Blue. To my eye the pics make it look like Quasar Blue but it could be one of the other colors like Aqua. As noted above it is possible that lighting conditions and camera could make it look lighter. Doubt it was repainted based on OPs description. Perhaps the OP could provide a paint code or window sticker to clarify? Nice looking car whatever the color!--Bob

Is this Joe's old car?

If I was a betting man, I would guess serial # 0152, Bright Aqua with Grey interior, and around 17-18,000 miles? Originally delivered to the Mesa, Arizona Proving Grounds. Sold at Barrett Jackson, titled in California, then Michigan, and Florida.

Hey there Joe! See you have the 2012 ZR1 now; that has to be a super wild ride!!

Finally got had a chance to stretch the 95's legs a little bit today. Weather was perfect! Drove down by the water. It will hit 20K miles very soon. Most of them on the drive back from MI. Changed out the injectors over the winter months. Runs pretty good.

Here is a picture of my old ride. Had that one for a really long time.
Gone but not forgotten. Always like that QB color.

bright aqua metallic. very nice color and rare. I had a quasar blue 1992 and just loved the color. dont worry about the dunn heads. It is basically the foundry changed from birmal to dunn late in the zr1 run. birmal and dunn heads perform exactly the same. the record setting zr1 car was a 1990 and used birmal heads, all stock just without cats.

Yes, the 2012 ZR1 is a blast, but I'm glad you are enjoying the '95! It looks awesome.
