Looking clean!
Nice photo of overhead view, gotta stand on your tippy toes for that. I especially like the balance of shine and shadow. LT-5 is a stunning looking motor, really lets you know "I'm the beast within...now close the hood and I'll show you what I'm made to do."

Truly an LT5 motor is the most exotic looking motor in the world ....

Sounds like a good thread to post up pictures of your engine only. Now if I only knew how.

Aaron prefers paint for his engine refinishes I believe.
Base coat, wetsand, clear, wetsand, polish.
This painted engine refinish is almost 10 years old...looks brand new.
I clean it with a vented compressed air nozzle. I don't physically touch or wipe it at all.

No all the parts are polished, copperplated and clear coated. The galvanizer did a perfect and lasting job 3 years ago. Every single item looks still as new.

I have pictures of this somewhere. This is the Steel Blue Shinoda body automatic car. I saw this at PRECISION MOTIVE in Hayward a few years ago, I had a chance to buy the headers that came off of it at some point.
Don't GAS what anyone says. The LT5 is a work of art inside and out !
Kinda like the Mona Lisa :) and about as old too :-D:-D

I'm in the process of rescuing a 1993 ZR1 #135 Red/Red - That looked like someone drove it to a rock quarry for a daily driver. DIRT AND ROCK CHIPS everywhere. Will start a separate post for the restore but here is my Engine - Before and After. All done with Rattle can and paint brush for the letters.

I would say at least 6-8 hours over a few days. I had taped everything off and then used a paintbrush for the cam cover bolts and made sure all over spray that I saw was removed. The engine was degreased and lightly sanded then rattle can sprayed. Thanks for the comments!
