Time to do the drive shaft and half shaft u-joints. Where is the best place to get new u-joints? Should I stick with Spicer? Thanks.

Hi Nick, I would definitely stick with Spicer. They have a coating so as not to corrode the aluminum. The half shaft part #'s are 5-800X and the drive shaft #'s are 5-786X. I had a relative who has an account with Spicer order mine. I think about 20.00 each. Merry Christmas.

Spicer. I can get them locally if you want Nick. Although most places you go to, if you take the shafts with you will install them.

Thanks, Mike and Jeff! I'm getting some pretty good clicking noises out of mine, and with 72,000 miles on the originals, its time to get it done.

Nick, if you could....take some pictures of the process, I am about ready to do mine...I have them here ready to install. It would make a great how to article.

Would all the info on that page be the same for the ZR-1?

Sounds like a fun weekend project. If you do it on a Sunday and have my favorite plastic bottled beer on hand I might just come up to help.

Scorp's page was the one that I used when I did mine and it all looked the same to me. It's pretty straight forward.
