I see replacing it is a real PIA. I am having issues, smell of coolant inside and windshield fog. So far, have no coolant inside but sure that it is just a matter of time. Has anybody tried stop leak? It's a stretch but looking at any and all solutions.

I would only in an emergency as it tends to plug up the radiator as well. You can loop the heater hoses but then you will not have heat however it will stop the leaking.

Cliff posted up how to do it recently without pulling the dash. I suggest you look at those threads or you loop the system untill you can get to the repair. Just my thoughts as I dont imagine much driving this time of year in MD... If you have a heated garage go for it. Regaurdless it is an udder PITA. GC

Thanks, that is what I figured. Have a new Dewitts radiator and don't want to mess it up. Thanks for the feedback.
