Also posted on CF, do may be a duplicate post to some. I may be able to trade a C5 front bumper for a rear ZR -1 bumper. Is this a straight up trade or offer cash in addition to my C5 bumper....Opinions needed....
Pics enclosed....

Man, it'd be nice to have this piece along with Brett's upper surround piece.

The ZR-1 specific body parts are going to be a gold mine one day

Aren't the doors a tad longer to accommodate the wider rear end?

Update.....spoke to my co-worker/friend this AM after texting him pics of my C5 front bumper. He has agreed to do an even swap bumper for bumper:-D So not only did I stop him from cutting it up, but it will be in my possession soon!!!!! Can't wait.........

Sorry I won't mention that to him......

Yes it would, but not in my budget....lol

I agree, now I have an extra set of wheels, now a rear bumper, and if I had the $$ for Brett's upper surround....I just might build my own ZR-1 from parts......lol

I thought they were wider than longer to accommodate the wider rear....

That's an amazing deal. I'd love to refinish that piece and have it hanging from my garage ceiling, waiting for the day when some bonehead rear-ends me

Yes Bob, it is an amazing deal, again feeling very lucky to make an even swap......wiped down the bumper somewhat and from being in his garage for so long, it will need to be gone over before it is ever ready for paint.
It also appears to me that this a genuine GM part, as it is
MADE IN CANADA along with what appears to be a GM part #

Nice.
Those pix make me wonder where all the tooling for these plastic pieces went.

you scored. love to get a fiberglass mold made of it so we can crank these out. like the old 74 vette, I'd like to "graft mine on" and get rid of the body lines.
I've still got a good one on my 95 ZR-1 and I'd love to make a mold of it.
this isn't trivial but I'd like to see if anyone would want to step up someday so we're not scrounging for old stuff
