FIELD, BRABHAM TO CHAT LIVE WITH FANS FROM MID-OHIO
Braselton, GA - American Le Mans Series drivers Clint Field and David Brabham will talk live with AmericanLeMans.com visitors in a pair of live online chat sessions to be held from this weekend's ALMS event at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
Field, from Dublin, Ohio, will be racing at his home track in Sunday's American Le Mans at Mid-Ohio fresh from posting a class win in the recent running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The 21-year-old driver will seek the LMP2 class win at Mid-Ohio in the Intersport Racing Lola B2K/40-Judd and will be online to answer questions from fans at 5 p.m. (Eastern) on Thursday, June 24.
Brabham, one of the most popular and successful drivers in ALMS history, will drive at Mid-Ohio for the new Krohn-Barbour Racing team in a Lomborghini Murcielago R-GT in the GTS class. Brabham will practice the new car for the first time only a few hours before being live online to chat at 5 p.m. (Eastern) on Friday, June 25.
Fans wishing to participate in the chats can go to www.americanlemans.com and follow the instructions on the home page. AmericanLeMans.com will hold live chats from all events on the 2004 American Le Mans Series schedule as part of its "Fan Frenzy" initiative.
FAN FORUM - The Mid-Ohio round of the American Le Mans Series "FANatic Forum" will be held on Saturday at 11:30 a.m., and will be held in the Honda Pavilion at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The one-hour forum will give fans the opportunity to ask questions of series personalities in a casual setting.
Guests for the Forum at Mid-Ohio will include ALMS drivers JJ Lehto, Leo Hindery and Clint Field, along with Uwe Brettel of Porsche Motorsports and Scott Atherton, the President and CEO of the American Le Mans Series.
