I hadn't been by there in a while so I made a quick side trip during the 21st
Anniversary at the NCM to see if it was still there. There is a big "For Lease" sign in front of the building. I kinda expected it but was hoping that it would stay open. Not to be since the kids all live in California. Another part of ZR-1 history belonging to the ages.

Unfortunate, but I'm glad I got to know Jim and spend some time in the shop. Without question, a very knowledgeable individual on the ZR-1, and vehicles in general. He truly is a part of the ZR-1 Legend, and I was fortunate to drive his Black Widow last year. :cheers:

You are quite right, Joe. When you look at what he did and how he did it, no question, he is or was a part of the Legend of the ZR-1. I don't remember but did someone make mention of a brick for him at the NCM? Is anyone doing this? Just talking out loud again.
